Common Admission Test (CAT) is a national level management test conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) every year to get admission to MBA and other post graduate courses offered by its 21 campuses (NITIE Mumbai has added to the cluster and has been renamed as IIM Mumbai). The candidates who had appeared in CAT 2025 CBT held on 30th November 2025 can check the result on the official website at iimcat.ac.in. For instance, they just need to click on CAT Scorecard PDF Link. Enter login credentials – application number and password/ date of birth and download scorecard PDF. Moreover, they can save it and take a printout for future reference. Similarly, once results are out based on CAT scores and other eligibility criteria, the Indian Institute of Management begins the shortlisting process for the next rounds of selection. 

CAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit 

Educational Qualification: CAT is an entrance exam for admission to PG courses. Candidates who want to apply for CAT entrance exam must have a graduation degree from a recognized university and other eligibility as follows: 

• Firstly, candidates of UR/ OBC/EWS categories must pass their graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA. 

• Candidates of SC/ST/PWD/DA categories must pass their graduation with 45% aggregate or equivalent CGPA. 

• Candidates who have completed a professional degree like CA/CS/ICWA with the required percentage can also appear for CAT. 

• Moreover, the education mode of a bachelor’s degree can be regular or distance learning but should be a 3-year programme and from a UGC recognized institution. 

• Lastly, candidates who are in final year or awaiting results will be required to submit a passing certificate or marksheet to MBA college by a certain deadline for confirmation of admission. 

Age Limit (no age limit) 

There is no age limit to appear for CAT 2025. Therefore, anyone who wants to start their education for their career can apply for CAT 2025 as the exam is accepted for EPGP, Doctorate and FPM courses too. 

CAT 2025 Result Complete Exam Pattern and Syllabus Details 

The exam authority has divided the CAT exam syllabus into three sections -(A) Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, (B) Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (c) Quantitative Aptitude

• Section (A)- Reading Comprehension, Para Jumbles, Para Summary and Odd Sentence Out 
• Section (B)- Set Theory (Variables), Set Theory+ Puzzles, Puzzles with Additional Data ,Coding- Decoding and Series
