UPPSC Polytechnic Lecturer Recruitment 2025 

The commission has invited applications for the examination which will happen in 2026. Furthermore, the commission has named it the Uttar Pradesh Technical Education Service. For instance, an applicant will have to pass the written test followed by an interview. Post that, the commission will prepare the final merit list and will call them for document verification.

UP Polytechnic Lecturer Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit 

Interested candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the UP-Polytechnic Lecturer vacancy 2025. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria should carefully apply for the same. Therefore, for the convenience of candidates here short details given as follows: 

Educational Qualification 

For the post of Lecturer in Engineering & Technical Branches (For Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics, Chemical, Computer, Paint technology, Plastic Mold Technology, Textile Technology. Footwear, Textile Chemistry, Leather Technology, Instrumentation & Control): 

• Firstly, candidates must passed B.E./ B.Tech./B.S. in the relevant discipline with First Class. 

• Secondly, bachelor’s and master’s Degrees in the relevant discipline with First class in either degree. 

The Post of Lecturer in Architecture 

• Firstly, B. Arch or a 4-year first class degree in any allied field. 

• Allied Fields include Architectural Assistant ship, Architectural Engineering, Architecture & Interior Design, Building Engineering & Construction Management, Interior Design, etc. 

• Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture/allied fields with first class in either degree. 

For the post of Workshop Superintendent 

• Bachelor’s OR master’s degree in mechanical engineering with First Class. 

• Bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering with First Class in either. 

For the post of Lecturer in Non- Engineering (Sciences & Humanities) 

• The subjects included Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics. 

• Master’s degree in the relevant subject with First Class. 

Preferential Qualifications (Extra Advantage) 

• Candidates will get preference if they have 2 years of service in the Territorial Army or hold on an NCC “B” Certificate. 

Age Limit (as on 01/07/2025) 

To apply for Up Polytechnic Lecturer post candidate must complete the age of 21 years and not older than 40 years as on 01/07/2025. Upper age relaxation will be given for reserved categories as follows: 

• Firstly, for the candidates of SC/ST/OBC/ Skilled Players, Up State Government Employees: 5 years 

• Secondly, for the candidates of Physically handicapped (PWDs): 15 years 

• Lastly, for Ex-servicemen: 3 years

How to Apply for UP Polytechnic Lecturer? 

Candidates can apply online through the UPPSC official website using the steps given below: 

• Firstly, visit the official website at https://www.uppsc.up.nic.in/ 

• Secondly, on the home page go to the “Notification” section and click on the “Apply link” for the UPPSC Polytechnic Lecturer Recruitment 2025. 

• Thirdly, click “Apply”- “Authenticate with O.T.R” If you have already an OTR, enter your OTR number and authenticate via OTP or OTR password. But if you do not have OTR first register on https://otr.pariksha.nic.in to get an OTR number then continue the process. 

• Now fill in your personal details and educational qualifications. 

• Similarly, pay the application fee through the given online mode. 

• Lastly, submit the application form and take a printout of your filled application form for future reference. 

UP Polytechnic Lecturer Recruitment 2025: Selection Process 

The selection process for the UP-Polytechnic Lecturer consists of two stages. The Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the written exam and the interview. 

• Written Examination: The examination will be conducted for 250 questions for 750 marks. For instance, candidates must clear this exam to be called for the interview. 

• Interview: Candidates who cleared the written exam in the merit list will be called for personal interview. 

• Document Verification: Candidates must have submitted all the original educational documents personally for verification and then the result will be declared. 

UPPSC Polytechnic Lecturer Exam Pattern 2025 

The examination has two papers. There will be 150 questions in each of them. The major subjects are General Hindi and General Studies. Moreover, you will get 3 marks for each right answer. Similarly, you will get a –1 mark for each incorrect answer. All applicants will get 2.5 hours to solve each paper.
