CUET UG 2026 registration window has been reopened at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can now fill the common University Entrance Exam UG 2026 online. The last date to fill the CUET UG 2026 form is February 26. For instance, the entrance test will be held in Computer- Based Test (CBT) mode from May 11 to May 31, 2026, on a tentative basis. The exam will take place across India and in selected cities outside the country. Moreover, the online registration process had closed earlier this month after extensions.
However, NTA has reopened the application window to provide a chance for the candidates who have not submitted their applications. The reopened window will remain active from February 23 (afternoon) to February 26, (11.50 PM). Candidates who missed earlier deadlines can now complete their registration and fee payment within this limited period.
CUET UG 2026 application window reopened till February 26
As per notification the application process for CUET UG 2026 was first open from January 3 to 30, 2026 and the last date to pay the application was 31 January 2026, although later NTA extended the last date to February 4, and fee payment was allowed till February 7, 2026. Additionally after receiving several requests for more time the agency decided to reopen the form submission and fee payment facility. Moreover, the window started on February 23 (afternoon) and will close on February 26 at 11.50 PM.

Candidates can complete the application process using the steps as follows:
- Firstly, go to the official website -cuet.nta.nic.in
- Secondly, click on the CUET -UG 2026 application link.
- Thirdly, register with basic details and create login credentials.
- Similarly, fill in the application form with personal academic details.
- Moreover, upload the required documents, including photograph and signature.
- Similarly, pay the application fee through online payment mode.
- Lastly, submit the application form after reviewing and download or print the confirmation page for future reference.

CUET UG 2026 application window re-opened: No correction facility after submission
The National Testing Agency reopened the application window for the candidates who had missed to submit their application form for CUET UG 2026 with warned the candidates that they must enter all the details carefully while filling out the form. There will be no correction window after submission. Therefore, candidates must carefully check their personal details, subject choices, upload required documents in proper format and pay the required fee before final submission. After submitting the form candidates cannot change anything under any circumstances.

As per the media reports, NTA has recorded over 14.92 lakh application forms for till February 07, 2026. All the registered candidates will be able to check the NTA exam date sheet for CUET UG 2026 soon on its official website and plan their preparation strategy accordingly.
