Angiveer Recruitment in Indian Navy  for 2027 Batches Opens

Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2026: The Indian Navy has released official recruitment notification for Agniveer SSR, Agniveer MR and SSR (Medical) sailor posts for the 01/2027 batches. For instance, candidates can apply online through the official recruitment portal between March 14, 2026 and April 06, 2026. Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply for Agniveer SSR and Agniveer MR positions. Moreover, recruitment SSR Medical Sailor positions is restricted to unmarried male candidates. The selection process will commence with the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) 2026 and then continue with other rounds.

Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2026: Educational Qualification & Age Limit

Candidates must complete the required educational qualification and age limit as follows:

Educational Qualification:

• For Agniveer MR: Candidates must pass class 10^th with 50% marks and for Agniveer SSR Class 12^th with Mathematics and Physics or three- year diploma with 50% marks is mandatory.
• For Agniveer SSR (Medical) Class 12^th with Physics , Chemistry and Biology with a minimum of 50% marks is mandaory.

Age Limit:

Age limit varies depending on the batch. Candidates applying for Agniveer 01/2027 batch must be born between December 01, 2004 and May 31, 2009. For Agniveer 02/2027 and SSR (Medical)02/2027 applicants must be born between May 01, 2005 and October 31, 2009 (both dates inclusive)

Marital Status:

Only unmarried Indian male and female candidates are eligible for enrollment as Agniveer in Indian Navy. Moreover, Candidates will have to give a certificate of being ‘unmarried’ at the time of enrollment. Agniveer shall not be permitted to marry during their entire tenure of four years in the Indian Navy. A candidate shall be dismissed from service if he/ she marries during his/her tenure or is found to be already married despite giving certificate of being unmarried.

• Thirdly, Register using your email ID, mobile number and Aadhar details( or create a new account if applying first time)
• Similarly, log in and fill the online application form with personal, educational, and other required details.
• Moreover, upload the scanned copies of required document is the prescribed format.
• Similarly, pay the application fee (if applicable) through the given payment method.
• Lastly, after submitting the form take a printout of the confirmation page.

To select in the Indian Navy as Agniveer positions candidates must complete the for stage selection process- Written Exam – Physical Test – Medical examination- Document Verification. Indian Navy Agniveer Entrance Test 2026 (INET): Pattern

The written exam will conduct in computer-based  mode with a total of 100 questions, each carrying 01 mark. The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and objective type (multiple-choice).Moreover, The question paper will comprise of four sections i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and General Awareness and the standard of the question paper will be that of 10+2. Syllabus & sample papers for the examination are available on website https://joinindiannavy.gov.in. Duration of examination will be one hour. Additionally, the candidates must pass in all sections as well as in aggregate.

Marking Scheme: Each question will carry 1 mark and the ¼ Marks (.25 marks) shall deduct for each incorrect answer.
