The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released an official notification for the National Defence Academy, Nawal Academy Examination (1) 2026 on April 12, 2026 across multiple centres in India. For instance, candidates who have been admitted to the examination are required to download their e-Admit card from the official UPSC portal once it is available. No paper admit cards will be issued for this session. e- Admit card must be printed and preserved until the declaration of the final results. Candidates will be allowed to appear at the examination venue only if they produce the printed e-Admit card along with a valid photo identity card mentioned on the admit card. UPSC NDA NA 2026 Examination Pattern
Candidates who will appear in NDA Exam 2026 must go through the exam pattern declared by UPSC. For your convenience a detailed pattern given below:
- NDA Exam 2026 will be conducted in offline mode (OMR- Based).
- Candidates must solve MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions )
- Negative Marking: 0.83 marks for Maths, 1.33 marks for English and 1.33 marks for GK shall deduct for each incorrect answer.

NDA NA 2026: Selection Process
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts NDA NA examination to provide the opportunity to the youth of the country who wish to join the defense services. The NDA 2026 will conduct in two stages to select the eligible candidates.
- Stage 1. Written Examination
- Stage 2. Intelligence and Personality Test (SSB)
Candidates who qualify in written examination must participate in a personality test which is conducts to check the candidate’s intelligence and personality. Moreover, the candidates have to clear the both stages to get their names on the merit list. After completion this process UPSC generate the final merit with the cumulative score of the Written Exam and the SSB will be considered for final selection.
