UPSSSC ASO Recruitment 2026 Application Opens: The UPSSSC has released a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Statistical Officers (ASO). UPSSSC ASO Recruitment 2026: Eligibility

To apply for the direct recruitment for the post of Assistant Statistical Officers and Assistant Research Officer (Statistical) in the Service, a candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A Post- Graduate degree in Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Commerce, Economics, or Statistics from a recognized university or equivalent.
• An ‘O’ Level diploma in Computer Applications awarded by the DOEACC Society, or a diploma of at least one year’s duration in Computer Science from any recognized university or institution.
• Knowledge of Hindi language in Devnagari script.

Preferential Qualification: In cases of direct recruitment, where as other things are equal, preferences shall be given to a candidate who has –

• Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of 02 years; or
• Obtained a ‘B’ Certificate of the National cadet Corps.
