Aadhar-based eKYC: The Centre Stage
NTA has taken a greatest change this year is the addition of Aadhar- based eKYC for identity authentication. For the first time , students applying to NEET UG 2026 will be identified electronically using the Aadhar system during the application process. This particular step is obviously designed to sanitize the process of examinations and enhance the integrity of the results. The idea is to authenticate the application process by matching it to verified Aadhar identity. The aim is to end the problems of impersonation and duplication that have plagued the conduct of examination and test on a massive scale.
