RPSC Recruitment 2026  Notification Out for Lecturer Special Education: Rajasthan Public Service Commission has released recruitment notification for 121 Lecturer posts on its official website. Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit for Lecturer Special Education Recruitment 2026

The criteria for the educational qualification and age are as follows:

• A Postgraduate degree in the concerned subject from a recognized university.
• Candidate should possess either a bachelor degree in Education in Special Education (B.Ed.) or Bachelor’s Degree in Education along with two years of Diploma in Special Education (as recognized by RCI).
• Candidate must have a good knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari Script and acquaintance with Rajasthani Culture is essential.
• The candidate must be registered with Bharatiya Punarvas Parishad (RCI) before appearing for the recruitment examination.

Age Limit: Candidates must complete 21 years of minimum age and not be older than 40 years.

Age Relaxation as per the government norms for the category-wise will meet  to the candidates as mentioned in the official notification.

RPSC Recruitment 2026: Lecturer Special Education Selection Process

The selection for these posts will be based on competitive examination with 450 marks. The written exam consists of the following details –

Written Examination:

• Paper 1 (General Studies): 150 Marks, 1.5 hours duration.
• Paper 2 (Subject & Special Education): 300 Mark , 3 hours duration.
• Qualifying Marks: A minimum of 40% is required for each paper (relaxed by 5% for SC/ST candidates)
• Negative Marking: One -third (1/3) of the marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Document Verification:

Candidates who scored well in the written examination must complete document verification to confirm their eligibility. Documents include educational certificates, ID proof, and other documents required by the Commission.
