Candidates who have applied for MTET 2026 can download their hall ticket from the official website of DERT using the steps as follows:

• Firstly, visit the official website of DERT at megeducation.gov.in
• Secondly, click on the link “MTET Admit Card 2026”.
• Thirdly, enter your registration number/ Application number and password.
• Similarly, click on the login button.
• Moreover, view the hall ticket and download PDF file.

MTET Exam 2026 Details

The Meghalaya Teacher Eligibility Test will be held on 24 July 2026 in offline mode. The questions will be asked in multiple choice questions (MCQs) carrying one mark each. Moreover, candidates appearing in the exam cam check the details pattern given below:

• All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying one mark each.
• There will be no negative marking.
• The written exam will be consist of two papers.
• Paper 1 will be for a candidate aspiring to be a teacher for Classes I-V.
• Paper 2 will be for a candidate aspiring to be a teacher for Classes VI-VIII.
• A candidate aspiring to be a teacher for both classes I to V and Classes VI – VIII will have to appear in both papers (i.e. Paper 1 & Paper 2).
