NEET UG 2026 recorded responses released at neet.nta.nic.in; NTA opens OMR challenge window after answer key process closes

NEET UG 2026 recorded responses: The National Testing Agency has released the scanned images of OMR answer sheets and recorded responses for candidates who appeared in the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. The documents have been uploaded on the official NEET portal, while scanned copies of OMR answer sheets have also been sent to candidates through their registered email addresses. The facility allows candidates to review the responses captured during the scanning process and raise objections if they find any discrepancy between their marked answers and the recorded responses. NTA has clarified that the answer key challenge process has already concluded and no further objections against the answer key will  accept now.

NEET UG 2026: Challenge Facility Available for Recorded Responses

NTA conducted RE- NEET UG 2026 on June 21, 2026 at various centers across India and abroad. In which around 22.05 lakh candidates appeared in the examination making it one of the biggest entrance examination in India’s medical admission calendar. Moreover,  NTA has closed the answer key challenge window and no further objections against the answer key will accept now. Moreover, NTA Opens OMR challenge window where candidates can raise objections if they find any discrepancy between their marked answers and recorded responses till 15th July 2026 until 11.00 AM by paying fee of Rs. 200 per response challenged must pay online through debit card/ credit card or net banking. Challenges submitted without payment or though any mode other than the online portal will not consider.

How to download RE-NEET UG 2026 OMR Sheet ?

Steps to download the OMR sheet:

  • Firstly, visit the official website at neet.nta.nic.in
  • Secondly, click on the NEET UG 2026 Candidate Login link ”
  • Similarly, enter the Application Number and Password/ Date of Birth
  • Moreover, submit the login details.
  • Now, click on the Response Sheet link available on the dashboard.
  • Lastly, download and save the OMR sheet for future reference.

Procedure for submitting objections

The challenge portal enables candidates to compare the high- resolution scanned OMR Sheet with the responses captured by the scanning system. If any recorded response differs from the answer marked on the physical OMR sheet, candidates can select the relevant question and indicate the option they claim to have marked.

According to the annexure issued by NTA, candidates may also report errors in the capturing at vital data fields including roll number, booklet number or set code. The system automatically calculate the total processing fee based on the number of challenges submitted. After successful payment, candidate must submit the challenge online and download the acknowledgment page for future reference.

NEET UG 2026 Response Sheets: Instructions Issued by NTA

NTA has advised candidates to review the scanned OMR sheet carefully before filling any objection. Only responses marked by completely darkening a single circle with a blue or ball ballpoint pen will be treated as valid. The agency has also warned that manipulated or tampered OMR images submitted during the challenge process will be treated as cases of unfair means, which may lead to debarment or legal action.
