CAT 2025 registration ends tomorrow. For instance, every year one IIM conducts the Common Admission Test. This test gives admission to MBA and other postgraduate courses offered by 21 IIMs. Moreover, NITIE Mumbai has been added to the cluster and has been renamed as IIM Mumbai. This exam is an entrance test to offer the aspiring candidates a chance to get admission in their desired MBA. Similarly, every year nearly 2.50 lakhs to 3 lakhs students appear in it.

CAT 2025 Application Procedure: How to Apply for the Examination
You can click on the direct link to go to the login dashboard. Moreover, you can also apply for the examination with some easy steps. Above all, it is important to remember that the last date of application is 13th September 2025.
- Firstly, visit the official website at https://iimcat.ac.in
- Secondly, register with your personal details. Click on “New Registration”. Complete your details including name, date of birth, valid phone number and mail ID.
- Thirdly, log in with the ID received through email to fill in the CAT 2025 application form.
- Similarly, enter your personal and educational details, personal details, address etc.
- Now upload the required documents such as photograph, signature and academic certificates.
- Moreover, Select preferred courses and IIMs.
- Pay CAT application fee through the given payment method and click on the “Submit” button.
- Lastly, download or take a printout of your filled application form for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit for the Common Admission Test
Educational Qualification: CAT is an entrance exam for admission to PG courses. Candidates who want to apply for CAT entrance exam must have a graduation degree from a recognized university and other eligibility as follows:
Candidates of UR/ OBC/EWS categories must pass their graduation with minimum 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
Applicants of SC/ST/PWD/DA categories must pass their graduation with 45% aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
Candidates who have completed a professional degree like CA/CS/ICWA with the required percentage can also appear for CAT.
Moreover, the educational mode of bachelor’s degree can be regular or distance learning but should be a 3-year program and from a UGC recognized institution.
Candidates who are in final year or awaiting result will be required to submit a passing certificate or marksheet to MBA college by a certain deadline for confirmation of admission.
Age Limit (no age limit)
There is no age limit to appear for CAT 2025. Anyone who wants to start their education for their career can apply for CAT 2025 as the exam is accepted for EPGP, Doctorate and FPM courses too.

CAT exam syllabus is broadly divided into three sections -(A) Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, (B) Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (c) Quantitative Aptitude
