CBSE CTET Exam City Slip 2026 Out Soon at ctet,nic.in

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 on February 8, 2026 in offline mode at multiple centers across the country. For instance,  the CTET Exam City Slip 2026 will be released soon.  Candidates who have registered for the CTET February 2026 can download the City Intimation Slip from the official website at ctet.nic.in. The exam city slip will inform candidates about the city in which their examination center is located. While CBSE makes every effort to allot a center in one of the cities chosen by the candidate during registration, the board reserves the right to allot an exam center in any city across India, if required.

As per schedule the CTET February 2026 will be conducted on February 8, 2026 in two shifts: Paper 2

Morning Shift: 9.30 AM to 12.00 noon while Paper 1 will be held in Second Shift: 2.30 to 5.00 PM. Candidates who have successfully registered will be able to download their exam city slip and admit card using their login credentials through the official website at https://ctet.nic.in/ The admit card 2026 will be issued after the release of the City Intimation Slip. It is expected to be released by 31st January 2026. Candidates are advised to visit the official website in a  timely for the latest updates.

To download the CTET Exam City Intimation Slip 2026 candidates can follow the steps given below:

  • Firstly, visit the official website at https://ctet.nic.in/ 
  • Secondly, Click on the “CTET Exam City Slip 2026” link available on the homepage.
  • Now enter your login details such as registration number/ application ID and Password.
  • Thirdly, click on the submit button.
  • Now the city Intimation Slip will be displayed on the screen.
  • Lastly, download and take a print out for future reference.

CTET 2026 Eligibility

CBSE CTET consists of two papers: Paper 1 (Class 1 to 5th ) and Paper 2 (6 to 8th); The Eligibility criteria for both papers are as follows:

CTET Paper 1: For those looking forward to teaching classes 1-5th. Applicants should have passed 12th or equivalent along with a 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or a similar qualification, either completed or in the final year.

Paper 2: CTET Paper 2 for class 6th to 8th candidates must have a bachelor’s  degree in any stream, along with relevant degrees like B.Ed./ B.A. Ed. Or Similar.

Eligible candidates who fulfill the requirements conditions for both Level 1 and Level can appear in each level.
