CTET 2026 registration has begun. Central Board of Secondary Education has released the notification about the examination on 27th November 2025. For instance, CBSE will take both papers on the same day, i.e. 8th February 2025. Moreover, the board has shortlisted 131 cities across India to set up exam centers.

How to Apply for the Examination: Here is the Procedure
As the notification will be released, the link will be active on the official website-ctet.nic.in for applying the application form.
Above all, eligible candidates should visit the official website to get details and follow the simple steps given below:
- Firstly, visit the official website- ctet.nic.in
- Secondly, click on the “Apply for CTET 2026 link”
- Thirdly, click on “New Registration”
- Register by filing the required details
- Fill out the Application form
- Similarly, upload the required documents along with a photo and signature.
- Lastly, pay the CTET application fee through the given payment mode.
Similarly, after taking a review, click on the ‘Submit’ button and then download or print the confirmation page for future reference.

Candidates of General/OBC – INR 1000
Candidates of ST/SC/PWd -INR 500 have to pay for the registration of CTET 2026.
For instance, if a candidate wants to appear in both papers (Level 1 and Level 2), they must pay the category General/ OBC- INR 1200, for the candidates of the category of ST/SC/Pwd- INR 600

CTET 2026: Syllabus and Previous Year Questions
As the questions have been in last year’s CTET2 2024 papers. The questions related to the subject knowledge and teaching aptitude of the candidates willing to teach classes 1st to 8th. Moreover, the syllabus has been divided into two papers. Paper 1 is for classes 1 to 5th, while Paper 2 is for classes 6th to 8th. Paper 1:
Subjects: Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1 & 2, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies
Topics: Focuses on foundational concepts for teaching primary classes (1st to 5th)
Paper 2:
Subjects: Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1 & 2, Mathematics, and Social Studies. Topics: Focuses on advanced concepts for teaching elementary classes (6th to 8th)
