After the declaration of the prelims result 2025, you can start preparing for IBPS Mains 2025 examination. The board will also release the prelims score cards along with category-wise cut off marks within a week.  

All the qualified candidates can take PO Mains Exam 2025. For instance, the board will organize the mains exam on 12th October 2025.

IBPS PO Prelims Result 2025, Normalization to Calculate the Scores 

To ensure a fair evaluation, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) uses a method called normalization. This method helps board to calculate the scores of IBPS candidates.  

For instance, the exam is conducted across multiple shifts and days. Therefore, variations in the difficulty level of question paper can occur. Similarly, normalization helps balance these differences by adjusting scores to a common scale. Moreover, it allows candidates to receive a rounded-off and equitable result.
