Eligibility and Age criteria for Engineering Posts
To apply for the IOCL Engineer Recruitment 2025 candidate must complete the required educational qualification and age limit for their respective engineering discipline. Ineligible candidates can be rejected in any stage of the selection process if any type of ineligibility is found during the selection process.
Educational Qualification: A candidate must pass a full time B.E./B.Tech Degree or equivalent degree as your university/ institute rules with minimum marks for General/EWS/OBC Category candidates are 65% marks and for the candidates of SC/ST PwBD category candidates -55% Marks required.
Age limit: As mentioned in the notification, candidates applying from General/EWS category should not be more than 26 years as on 01st July 2025. Upper Age Relaxation applying from other categories as per government guidelines as under:

IOCL Engineer Computer Based Test (CBT) Pattern 2025
For the selection of eligible candidates for the posts of engineer in Chemical, Electrical and Instrumental disciplines candidates must go through the three stages selection process. The first stage Computer Based Test (CBT) consists of 100 Objective Multiple -Choice Type questions as follows:
