The LIC will organize the AAO 2025 prelims on 3rd October 2025. Additionally, the corporation will conduct the mains exam 2025 on 8th November 2025.

AAO (Generalist)2025 Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit
Educational Qualification: A graduation degree from a recognized Indian university or educational Institute.
Age Limit: a candidate must be at the age of 21 years old as on August 1, 2025, and not older than 30 Years.
Relaxation in upper age limit as follow:
Firstly, SC/ST candidates – 5 Years
Secondly, for OBC candidates- 3 Years
PwBD (General) candidates- 10 Years
Lastly, for the Candidates of PwBD (SC/ST)- 15 Years

AAO 2025 Examination Pattern
Phase I: Preliminary Examination:
Preliminary Examination consisting of objective test will be conducted online. For instance, the test will have three sections (with separate timings for each section). Additionally, there will be no negative marks. Candidates will have to qualify in each of the sections separately.

LIC AAO (Generalist) 2025 Main Examination Pattern
Phase-II: Main Examination:
Main examination will consist of objective tests for 300 marks and descriptive test for 25 marks. Both the objective and descriptive tests will be online. The objective test will have separate timing for every section. Similarly, candidates will have to answer descriptive tests by typing on the computer.
Moreover, descriptive test will be administered immediately after the completion of the objective test. Additionally, there will be NO negative marks. Candidates must qualify in each of the sections separately.
