SBI Junior Associate/Clerk 2025 Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit
According to the notification, candidates should complete their graduation before 31st December 2025.
The details of the eligibility criteria are as follows:
- Educational Requirements: Must be a graduate in any stream from a government recognized college or university.
- Age Limit: Minimum age is 20 years, and the candidate should not be older than 28 years.
However, age relaxation will be applied according to the categories
For the Candidates of ST/ SC – 5 Years
For the candidates of OBC (NCL) – 3 Years
Additionally, Candidates belong to PWD – 10 to 15 Years, depending on category.

- Secondly, click on the ” Careers” section and select the SBI clerk JA 2025 link.
- Register with valid credentials including mobile number and verify with OTP.
- Similarly, log in using the credentials provided and fill out the application form with personal and academic details.
- Upload photos, signatures, and other required documents.
- Pay the application fee (If applicable) via Debit Card/ Credit card/ Net Banking.
- Lastly, review of your entries: click on the “Submit” button. Then download or print your filled application form for future reference.

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern 2025
The SBI Clerk exam will be conducted in three Tiers: First -Prelims, Second Tier- Mains, and Third Tier- LLPT (Local Language Proficiency Test). Similarly, candidates can check the details of the total marks and Questions of all three Tiers given below:
Tier 1: Preliminary Exam
An objective-type test will be conducted for 100 marks in a total duration of 60 Minutes /1 Hour.
The question paper will be in three sections as
English Language: 30 Questions, 30 Marks (20 Minutes)
Numerical Ability: 35 Questions, 35 Marks (20 Minutes)
Reasoning Ability: 35 Questions, 35 Marks (20 minutes)
Total Questions: 100, Total Marks: 100
Lastly, Negative marking: 1/4 marks for each incorrect answer.
Tier 2: Main Exam
An objective-type test of 200 marks with a total duration of 2 hours 40 minutes

Tier 3: Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)
This tier will be applicable to those who fail to give evidence of having studied the local language to the 10th or 12th standards. For instance, the bank will call these students for the Proficiency Test.
SBI Clerk 2025 Examination: Why there is a Need of LLPT, Find More
Firstly, LLPT ensures the reading and writing skills of the candidate and the speaking skills of the local language of the respective state/UT.
Secondly, only those who fail to give evidence of having studied the local language in the 10th or 12th standards will be called for the LLPT.
Lastly, candidates who fail in the LLPT will be disqualified and their candidature will be cancelled.
