SSC GD Constable Exam 2026 City Slip Out, Check Admit Card Date here: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released GD Constable Exam 2026 City Intimation Slip on its official website for the exam will conduct in CBT mode from 27 April to 30 May 2026 for 25487 vacancies across CAPF , Assam Rifles, and NCB Posts. For instance, the Commission has announced the exam city for the Constable (General Duty) Examination 2026 on Sunday 19th April 2026. The Commission will release the admit card 2-3 days before the commencement of the examination. Moreover, candidates who have successfully submitted their applications before the deadline can download their exam city slip and check the exam city. SSC GD Constable 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wants to join SSC GD Constable post under SSC must fulfill the educational criteria and age limit as mentioned by the Commission as follows:
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed 10th class or equivalent from a recognized board.
Age Limit (As on 01/01/2026)
Candidates who are applying for SSC GD must have completed the age of 18 years and not older than 23 years as on 1st January 2026. Additionally, reserved category candidates will meet the relaxation as follows:
SSC GD Upper Age Relaxation
- For the candidates of OBC category age relaxation will be given – 3 years
- For the candidates of SC/ST categories age relaxation will be given – 5 years
- For Ex- Servicemen – 3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the date of reckoning.
- Children of dependent of victims killed in the 1984 riots OR communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (UR) – 5 years
- Children of dependent of victims killed in the 1984 riots OR communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat ( OBC) – 8 years
- Children of dependent of victims killed in the 1984 riots OR communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (ST/SC) – 10 Years
SSC GD Constable 2026 Selection Process
The Staff Selection Commission will complete the entire selection process in four stages: Computer based Test(CBT)- Physical Standard Test (PST) Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and at the last the Medical Test. Moreover, shortlisted candidates will appoint SSC GD Constable posts in Central Armed Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF, Riflemen(GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Central Bureau through the following stages
1. Written Examination (Computer based Test )
2 Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
3. Physical Standard Test (PST)
4. Medical Test (MT)
SSC GD(CBT) 2026: Exam Pattern
The first stage to select SSC GD Constable the commission will conduct a computer based test for 160 marks of 80 Questions of four subjects 20 questions for each subject will be asked as follows:
Section A : General Intelligence and Reasoning (20 Qs. Of 40 marks )
Section B : General Knowledge and General Awareness ( 20 Qs. Of 40 marks )
Section C : Elementary Mathematics ( 20 Qs of 40 marks )
Section D : English/ Hindi ( 20 Qs. Of 40 marks )
Negative marking: ¼ (0.25) marks shall be deducted for each incorrect answer.
