AIIMS BSc Nursing 2026: Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit

To apply for AIIMS Bsc Nursing the required eligibility criteria and age limit as follows:

Nationality: Candidates must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit: (As on 31/12/2026)

Candidates must meet the age requirements for AIIMS BSc Nursing Programs.

• Minimum Age: 17 years
• Maximum Age: No upper age limit for these courses.

Educational Qualification:

• For BSc Nursing (Hons):

Candidates need to pass Class 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology , and English. Moreover, general category candidates must score a minimum aggregate of 55%, while reserved category students need 50% to apply for the same. Appearing candidates can also apply.

• For BSc Nursing (Post- Basic):

Candidates must pass Class 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. They need a diploma in general nursing and midwifery (GNM) from an Indian Nursing Council (INC) recognized institute.

Candidates must also be registered as a nurse and midwife (RN&RM) with ani state nursing council. Male nurses need six months of training in specific subjects like Orthopedic Nursing or Psychiatric.

• Firstly, move to the AIIMS Official website -aiimsexams.ac.in
• Secondly, complete the Basic Registration process if applying first time with entered the personal details like name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
• Thirdly, a registration ID and password will be sent, save them for future reference.
• Similarly, log in for Final Registration using the received credentials.
• Moreover, generate a Registration Unique Code (RUC), which is necessary to proceed.
• Similarly, provide academic details and choose an exam center city.
• Now, pay the application pay through the online payment mode.
